We’re looking for an experienced, customer-focused PM to join the Shopping Tools team at Wayfair, focusing on leveraging innovative visualization tools to provide customers confidence in their purchase decision. The Visualization pod helps customers understand the style, size, and fit of our 20M+ products through a variety of immersive visualization technologies including augmented reality and 3D technology.
 
As the CEO of your product, you must have a strong bias for action, be a consummate communicator, be extremely curious, and be willing to fill gaps where necessary to get the job done. You will be asked to break down complex customer problems and back up your recommendations with quantitative and qualitative reasoning. You will play a central role in driving the visualization strategy, and aligning the efforts of your cross-functional team and close stakeholders around that strategy.
 
What You'll Do
  • Set the vision for this team, including strategy, goal setting, and scalability that will help us delight users on complex shopping journeys and achieve our business goals
  • Build strong relationships throughout the organization, ensuring transparency across our roadmaps and surfacing opportunities to improve our collective velocity, consistency and/or quality
  • Define, monitor, and communicate KPIs for your product area
  • Translate our product vision / strategy into a well-sequenced roadmap, and ensure that your roadmap evolves as we learn and adjust our business goals
  • Partner closely with dedicated Engineering and Analytics teams to execute against your roadmap and continually improve team velocity
  • Innovate and incubate new ideas to drive visualization initiatives across Wayfair stores.
  • Liaise with important external partners and monitor key industry trends
What You'll Need
  • 7+ years experience in product management, with user-facing experience 
  • Strong technical background with a passion for breaking down challenging problems and drive value incrementally
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior leadership level, as well as with cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action & customer-focused innovation
  • Experience with 3D/interactive product development, or strong willingness to learn
