As a member of the Talent Management Service Team, you will be the HR Business Partner leading a team responsible for the overall HR strategy and operations of Wayfair’s North America Customer Service - Frontline organization. You’re joining at a time of incredible growth and change for Wayfair.

This role is a  tremendous opportunity for someone who has the capability to proactively design and deliver a holistic talent strategy from workforce planning to organizational development and change management. The role also requires tremendous operational expertise to deliver (and improve) efficient HR programs, and best-in-class employee relations and engagement.

What You Will Do

  • Leadership: Manage a remote team of 6 HR Business Partners and Generalists supporting an organization of 1200+ employees with aggressive growth plans over the next 2 years.
  • Talent Management Ownership: Drive initiatives that improve the employee lifecycle from hiring to exiting. This includes partnering with the CoEs in delivering the full scope of touch-points from best-in-class hiring, orientation and onboarding to employee engagement and retention, learning through exit survey data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coaching: Coach business leaders and their teams in their areas of effective leadership, teamwork, communication, influencing, and emotional intelligence. Provide a consultative approach in how you execute on the key essential functions of the role.
  • Site Strategy: Partner with leaders as we expand domestically and internationally. Assist in site selection by providing guidance on pros and cons of different locations with emphasis on local labor market, government engagement, employment regulations and demographics
  • Talent Analytics: Leverage talent data and analytics to identify trends, and make informed decisions, as well as provide coaching to leaders on how to best apply the data and tools available to them.
  • Talent Policies: Adapt and modify talent policies and processes that support the Wayfair People Principles. 
  • Org Effectiveness: Take initiative and ownership to propose solutions that will best enable world class leadership, teamwork, communication, and performance. Build an organizational system that fosters a positive, collaborative, accountable, and (very) fast-moving culture.
  • Change Management: Be the leading change agent and consultant to the business leaders. Collaborate with managers to identify change management initiatives and proactively lead the change efforts. Bring to bear your full scope of change management expertise to all programs and business initiatives including communication, stakeholder analysis, resistance management, transition paths, and long-term stickiness.
  • Workforce Planning: Partner closely with the business leaders and finance to build a nimble workforce that is effectively resourced to meet the short-term and long-term business plans. Build and nurture effective succession planning for key/critical roles. Identify resource gaps through analysis of current and future skill sets and roles. Establish and drive the global site strategy in partnership with the business leaders. Advise on optimal spans and layers that supports the business strategy. 

What You'll Need

  • Track record of defining and leading a high-impact team within a global, evolving organization.
  • Global HRBP with Organization Development experience preferred
  • Experience leading global change initiatives, talent management, workforce planning, and executive coaching. Certified in Change Management preferred.
  • Effective team facilitation skills
  • A solution-oriented approach and a strong understanding of how to enable an organization to succeed through talent.
  • High degree of business acumen, analytical capability and an ability to adapt to continuous change.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, Master’s degree considered a plus
  • Excellent problem solver with a proven track record of driving results
  • Proven ability to effectively and respectfully work with individuals at varying levels within an organization
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to successfully provide relevant and immediate feedback in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Able to create, analyze, report and manipulate data as it relates to people  metrics
