Who We Are

The Partner Development team utilises a tech-enabled, scalable model to provide best-in-class support to suppliers as they manage their business on Wayfair. This highly efficient and entrepreneurial team is directly responsible for driving supplier development at scale on Wayfair, identifying and unlocking growth levers for our suppliers to help them bring their business on our platform to the next level. In doing so, we partner closely with other teams to provide a best-in-class supplier and customer experience. Our goal is to help our supplier-partners with their growth, resolving issues and strengthening their partnership with Wayfair, ultimately positioning Wayfair to win in the online home space in the process.

The Partner Development team drives critical components of Wayfair’s supplier support strategy - our team members serve as the dedicated strategic point of contact to our supplier-partners, and use analytical skills, communication and strategic thinking to execute our strategic vision of offering best-in-class support to an ever-growing supplier base.  As an associate, you will work at the core of E-commerce: operating at the intersection between customers, suppliers, and teams & technology!

What You'll Do

  • Manage the business development of a portfolio of Wayfair suppliers by building relationships, identifying growth opportunities and conducting business reviews
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide best-in-class supplier support and advance your portfolio through merchandising, promotions, marketing, on-trend product selection, effective pricing and profitability, and operational excellence
  • Leverage data to identify and prioritize opportunities, develop scalable approaches and track impact 
  • Represent Wayfair at various offsite events such as trade shows
  • Test new, innovative ideas in pilot programs, identifying patterns and recommending improvement opportunities

What You'll Need

  • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal. Fluent German, Spanish, French, Italian or Polish would be a plus
  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, ability to build trustful relationships
  • Data-driven approach and strong strategic thinking 
  • Committed team attitude with a strong desire to win and to drive collaboration with cross-functional teams and individuals
  • Strong desire to take ownership and calculated risk in a fast paced and changing environment    
  • Hunger to produce great results and execute on an array of initiatives
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset
  • First work experience in account management, e-commerce or consulting preferred
