What You'll Do

 

  • Execute and build strategy to drive solutions to enable fast, efficient, and reliable fulfillment operations today and through consultation with suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Coach and influence suppliers to optimally configure systems and processes to enable successful operations and to meet/exceed Wayfair’s data requirements
  • Lead and support supplier meetings as a subject matter expert to educate, influence, and drive supplier action
  • Effectively prioritize a large number of opportunities to drive impact to your category, demonstrating and articulating an understanding of how the work impacts broader operations KPIs and the business as a whole
  • Partner closely with teams across Wayfair, including transportation, data integration, warehousing, inventory planning, engineering, and others to coordinate cross functional projects
  • Analyze key performance metrics to drive change and root cause issues, with an ability to influence suppliers and cross-functional teams effectively
  • Regularly communicate with and present to key stakeholders and senior leadership

 

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of software solutions used to manage orders, inventory, warehouse fulfillment; B2B / consultative sales experience or equivalent client-facing experience a must
  • Experience in eCommerce or retail distribution preferred
  • Creative problem solving: ability to think both creatively and critically. Willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo, while also fairly evaluating all possible solutions in making strategic decisions
  • Good judgement: Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations, including balancing efficiency and data analysis with high quality standards and a sense of what is “right” for the customer
  • Communication: Ability to clearly and consistently work side-by-side across functions and departments synthesizing multiple points of view into a coherent action plan
  • Analytical: Process-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets and making data-driven decisions
  • Team player: Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
