The role / opportunity:

The Business Operations Manager is an important cross-functional hire,  responsible for ensuring the EU Partner Operations organisation achieves all round operational excellence, focusing on performance management activities and the execution of analytical projects. 

This is a high impact opportunity for an individual with strong quantitative skills, working across senior stakeholder groups to ensure the alignment and attainment of business goals, and to manage the successful execution of a suite of processes and tools. We are looking for an experienced, detail orientated Business Operations Manager who has strong collaboration,  execution, project management and analytical skills. 

 

What you will do

Performance Management & Analytics Projects

  • Supervise and manage high-impact quantitative projects end-to-end from initial strategic design to delivery execution to ongoing improvement and management.
  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analytical work that unlocks business insights and drives decision making on key business topics, reporting directly to senior management.
  • Play a central role in the definition and implementation of the EU Partner Operations strategy, ensuring a quantitative approach to strategy development and tracking.
  • Establish baseline metrics and analytics, and collaborate with the leadership team to track and report key performance indicators against annual, quarterly and monthly goals.
  • Collaborate with product owners to enhance  the established existing dashboards, and design dashboard enhancements to provide transparency on partner performance.
  • Manage the recurring  planning and performance management process in alignment with EU Partner Operations teams to develop plans, KPIs and monitor and track performance.
  • Manage and execute the quarterly target setting and monthly performance management processes, leading the review and challenge of both top down and bottom up targets.
  • Define KPIs, Objectives and Key Results OKRs and milestones for the Business Operations activities and ensure their implementation and reporting.
  • Act as the central point of contact and subject matter expert on EU Partner Operations business performance providing guidance and serving as a secondary escalation point.
  • Constantly review data to gain a deeper understanding of the products/projects under your supervision, and ensure performance and strong execution.

 

What you will need

  • Relevant program/project management experience, for instance in management consulting,  similar industries and/or e-commerce.
  • Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field
  • An independent, analytical, data-driven, well structured and solution-oriented work ethic, being comfortable operating in high growth environments.
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL and GBQ. Other structured programming languages (Python, R) are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience conducting quantitative analysis on large data sets; experience with Excel and DataStudio or other data visualization tools
  • Proven experience executing change management projects and initiatives.
