Wayfair is looking for an entrepreneurial leader to scale the B2C Sales function in Europe. Sales is one of the fastest growing organizations within Wayfair, and this is an opportunity to shape the strategic vision and create meaningful impact as you take ownership and build the team to hundreds and then thousands of agents. In this senior leadership role, you will be accountable for the overall end-to-end strategy, growth and profitability of a quickly scaling org that is critical to the long-term success of Wayfair.

 

What You´ll Do

  • Create the vision for B2C Sales in Europe, communicate it to executive leadership and key cross-functional partners to generate buy-in, leverage it to inspire your organization, and break it down into an achievable roadmap with clear KPIs
  • Expand scale and reach of B2C Sales teams to cover all European customer geographies, channels (e.g. phone, chat, WhatsApp, email), languages, devices (desktop, mobile, app), and pages (homepage, product pages, etc.)
  • Determine the optimal long-term organizational strategy and build a high performing, dynamic team: Hire, manage and develop a team that works closely with you and other business leaders to deliver on the long-term vision for Sales
  • Build and launch a series of Specialized Sales teams to offer true expertise to customers for the most complicated products and customer needs (e.g. interior designers, mattress experts, home renovations, etc.)
  • Utilize data science and technology to optimally balance customer demand and value with agent expertise and availability to maximize sales and conversion
  • Take full end-to-end responsibility for a broad & diverse set of dedicated Sales support functions, including Compensation, Workforce Management, QA, Engagement, Training & Development, Communications, Analytics, Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Storefront and more

 

What You´ll Need

  • Extensive relevant experience, preferably in management consulting and / or sales operations
  • Ability to thrive in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment
  • Proven track record of leadership, taking ownership, and driving results
  • Ability to develop, articulate, and execute strategy
  • Ability to pivot priorities as data-led insights evolve
  • Prior experience recruiting and building high performance teams
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic organization
  • Comfort in technology-driven business environment
