Wayfair is looking for an experienced Product Leader to ensure world-class landing experiences for customers who visit our sites/Apps from any of our paid and organic Marketing channels, across all of Wayfair’s retail brands (Wayfair, Perigold, AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane), geographies (currently US, UK, Canada and Germany, growing to 15+ over the next few years) and platforms (web, iOS and Android). This leader’s work will help make Wayfair’s customers happier by making the journey from our offsite ads to our site/App continuous and compelling, and drive significant business impact in the form of higher return on our >$1B of annual ad spend and higher customer lifetime value.

While this new leader will be empowered to shape our vision and strategy, our current strategy in this area includes (1) maturing our methods of identifying barriers to conversion across our end-to-end Marketing strategies, (2) improving the UX/UI and underlying platforms that power our various web and App landing experiences and (3) investing in product discovery to fuel longer-term big swings.

What you will do in this role: 

  • Drive Results
      • Craft, own, and deliver world-class landing experiences across all of our Marketing channels and respective landing pages, leading to measurable gains in customer happiness and ad spend efficiency.
      • Ensure that we approach these opportunities in ways that will scale, both in terms of the underlying platforms and capabilities that power these experiences and the experiences themselves.
  • Win Together
      • Lead a team of Product Managers, establishing and fostering a team culture with high accountability, trust, collaboration and empowerment.
      • Collaborate effectively with senior partners, stakeholders, and executives to ensure cross-Wayfair alignment and support for the App strategy and vision.
      • Play a hands-on role in our Storefront Product leadership team and Wayfair’s global Product Community, helping us on our mission to cultivate a world-class Product team and culture.
  • Continuously Improve
    • Ensure that we build powerful learning feedback loops (fed by quantitative and qualitative insights) into our decisionmaking
    • Wear the Wayfair hat in all decisions you make, for the landing experience and your teams
    • Learn and grow as an individual and team leader

What you’ll need

  • 10+ years’ experience shipping exceptional products at scale, in companies with top-tier Product teams and cultures.
  • Track record of hiring, developing and inspiring awesome Product Managers, and partnering effectively with Engineering, Design and the business
  • Familiarity (and ideally some degree of expertise) on customer acquisition funnel economics and playbooks
  • Motivated by creating masterpieces -- world-class experiences and teams
  • Strong instincts + pattern recognition around what “excellent” consumer experiences look like
  • Demonstrated ability to use product strategy / tactics to make customers happier in ways that deliver valuable business outcomes
