Wayfair believes everyone deserves a home they love, and that furnishing your home should be a source of fun, not anxiety. As part of the Wayfair Transportation & Delivery teams, the WDN 4-Walls teams are responsible for building our next generation sortation technologies in our delivery network to enable the perfect customer delivery experience. We have big aspirations for more advanced capabilities that will help transportation facilities in our network optimize for operational performance. This role will drive step change improvements in Wayfair’s speed, reliability and supply chain costs around millions of packages flowing through our proprietary supply chain network. Partnering with Engineering, Experience Design, Analytics and business leaders across Wayfair, our Product team ensures that we’re building technology that solves important customer problems in elegant, scalable, measurable ways. And we’re a highly collaborative, supportive team that values learning, psychological safety and intentional career development.

You will lead a team of product managers to define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our WDN 4 Walls teams, building a scalable technology platform for managing sortation of packages in all our transportation facilities (middle mile, last mile and 3rd party) across North America and Europe. You will own the overarching vision, driving product prioritization, requirement creation, and execution of product development with Engineering, Design, and Operations teams. This role is highly strategic, requiring close partnership with many internal stakeholders including other transportation and warehousing technology teams, operations, industrial engineering and finance teams.

Successful candidates will be entrepreneurial and creative problem solvers who are able to lead high-performing cross functional teams that bring their vision to reality. They'll also be able to dive deep into the technical details of their platform while simultaneously defining and communicating front-line vision as a key leader within our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define the product long-term strategy and translate it into an operational roadmap
  • Define and measure business impact, and monitor performance of initiatives and communicate performance metrics to key stakeholders
  • Leverage data to understand risks, impacts, scope and priorities of our business objectives, and enable the team to drive results
  • Develop and maintain the overall product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders from Engineering, Design and Operations
  • Lead and develop a team of junior and senior product managers
  • This position will require travel to operational sites through North America and Europe.

What You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience building high-impact products (B2B preferred) and driving large projects across a large, complex organization
  • 5+ years' experience successfully leading and improving teams that are highly effective both in terms of impact and team culture.
  • Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
  • Experience managing and influencing a global team of stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • Experience in supply chain and logistics is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action and ability to deal with extreme ambiguity and rapidly changing environment.
