Senior Associate, Merchandising Findability Ops 

We’re seeking highly analytical, passionate, and self-motivated individuals to join our Merchandising Findability team. The Findability team is driving long-term scalable solutions to Wayfair-wide business problems, specifically ensuring that our customers have access to our entire product catalog. In this role you will be focused on leading process and platform improvements to offer our stakeholders and suppliers fast support when encountering product issues. You will be expected to lead initiatives that help us achieve our vision of reduced product down-times and produce measurable outcomes, problem-solve with business stakeholders and engineering partners alike, articulate and execute against tactical plans, and monitor improvements.

This person will apply quantitative skills to answer high-level business and strategy questions, collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization and have end to end ownership of Wayfair’s long-term solutions. 

 

What You'll Do 

  • Independently drive process, technical, and operational improvements. Quantify the impact of improvements on key metrics 
  • Leverage data and deep understanding of processes to root cause and solve quality issues at scale
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in Category Management, Engineering, Product and off-shore vendor teams to drive action plans for high-priority, high-impact projects 
  • Drive customer satisfaction and trust by ensuring our full catalog is available to all our customers by leveraging tools, data and offshore resources effectively 
  • Manage a team of off-shore vendors as well as a small in-house team working to support our global suppliers and stakeholders 

What You'll Need 

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data
  • Passion for problem-solving and solutions implementation 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects, to delegate tasks appropriately, and to engage with cross functional teams. 
  • Possess strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, plus the ability to dissect and determine root 
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment 
  • Attention to detail and ability to catch errors & suggest solutions 
  • Comfortable working with and learning new technology
