Wayfair has been growing at a break-neck speed over the past several years, with COVID accelerating the growth to high double-digit percentage levels. Our Process Transformations team enables the continuous improvement of our processes, helps establish a culture of waste elimination and defect reduction across the organization, and acts as a process expert for other stakeholders across the Wayfair organization. 

We are looking for talented, self-motivated and entrepreneurial team leaders with demonstrated capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate is an energetic manager (or a high performing senior analyst) who understands how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. A desire to be where the work is happening and to roll-up sleeves and partner with our frontline service operations teams is a must. The candidate must also be able to develop trusting relationships with key cross functional teams both in the field and in HQ.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead analytics work streams within identified projects, focusing on developing insights across a number of customer service and service operations work flows and driving actions based on those insights
  • Standardize analytical processes and create transparency through rigorous data analysis and relentless pursuit of identified opportunities for improvement 
  • Program manage multiple projects and initiatives aimed at streamlining our operations through leveraging data and insights
  • Partner with field and HQ teams including Data Solutions, Operations Research and Business Intelligence teams and a number of various stakeholders across Supply Chain and Service organizations in driving execution of identified initiatives
  • (Post-COVID19): travel to our sites to work alongside teams doing the work as needed

 

What You’ll Need:

  • L3+, Must be in current position 6 months
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in operations, technology, consulting, strategy or finance, preferably with diverse experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven analytical capabilities and fluency with multiple analytical tools and practices, including SQL, Data Studio et al. 
  • Exceptional project management and operations experience
  • Ability to find right data sources, pull data, convert it into insights and leverage critical thinking lens to make conclusions and recommendations
  • Desire to work towards a culture of continuous improvement across all of Wayfair
  • Strong communication skills across various levels of leadership and ability to partner with all levels of operation in the field
  • Business acumen and ability to convert process improvements into financial implications
  • Zero tolerance for waste and inefficiency throughout E2E processes
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to convert quantitative information into actionable insights
  • Strong people leadership skills and ability to influence people without formal authority
