Working Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm / 10:00am - 8:00pm (10 hrs a day excluding breaks)

What You'll Do:

  • Drive and deliver in-home final mile routes as part of a 2-person team.
  • Interact with customers to deliver freight into their home at varying levels of service.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete,  the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied. 
  • Unload and load trucks with or without assistance of dockworkers or MHE to ensure safety.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. 
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and all duties in compliance with appropriate security and safety standards.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Participate in ongoing development through training, manager feedback and customer surveys.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. 

 

What You'll Need:

  • Able to maneuver circa 70kg  of merchandise with other persons both within the warehouse and into the customer home.
  • Able to lift/maneuver circa 30kg of merchandise on your own and sit for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Previous experience interacting with customers and passion about delivering great customer service.
  • Must be flexible and able to work 5 out of 7 shifts when required (including weekends) 
  • Able to cover both, early and late shifts when required. 
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in Two-Man delivery is not essential but highly desirable. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age ; a valid full UK or EEA Driving License.
  • Able to provide proof of identification and employment eligibility.
  • Pass a background check (DBS), alcohol and drug screening both, before and during employment.
