IAM Solutions Analyst 

 

The Identity & Access Management team is responsible for building solutions to effectively orchestrate user account lifecycles, ensure seamless authentication for internal and external applications, and facilitate user access requests. We lean heavily on automation to create scalable solutions that help the Security, Privacy, Identity, and Risk (SPIR) team fulfill its mission of security by design. We’re currently looking for a technically-minded, innovative, and collaborative Solutions Analyst to help manage our current catalogue of IAM services and technologies, working with stakeholders to troubleshoot systemic issues and and improve business processes. This role will be responsible for helping to grow our systems to fulfill our mission of being a best-in-class enterprise Identity & Access Management program. What You’ll Do

 

  • Analyze and troubleshoot systems and processes across all IAM capabilities, including (but not limited to) workforce user lifecycle, access management and governance, non-worker management, authentication, and systems integrations
  • Resolve system alerts related to automated IAM workflows
  • Work with stakeholders and IAM team members to identify enhancements to operational processes
  • Perform intake assessment for external requests to the IAM program and translate them into engineering work and capability enhancements
  • Integrate 3rd-Party applications with Okta Single Sign-On and Access Management
  • Create end-to-end system diagrams and document current and future business/technical processes
  • Assist with the rollout of our Enterprise Role-Based Access program by interviewing candidates, modeling access, and maintaining our knowledge bases
  • Assist with execution of IT General Controls (ITGC) such as periodic access reviews
  • Analyze security policy requirements with other members of the Security, Privacy, Identity, and Risk (SPIR) team 

 

Who You Are

 

  • Minimum 1-2 years of performing increasingly complex cross-functional business and technical analysis functions, preferably within Identity & Access Management or Security Engineering
  • Experience building or troubleshooting system automation and data ETL
  • Experience gathering evidence to root-cause systemic technical problems
  • Comfortable building cases for system enhancements and delivering business requirements to engineers and technologists
  • Proficiency creating system and process diagrams
  • Familiar with Web Services/APIs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fearless when working with stakeholders across engineering and business functions
  • Comfortable independently managing and organizing work tickets and project documentation
  • Loves learning new technologies and diving into thorny problem areas to create solutions that will improve the quality of life for end users and make our environment more secure

 

Preferred Skills

 

  • Experience with Identity & Access Management principles (Authentication/Authorization, least-privilege, role-based access, single sign-on, federation, etc.) and platforms (Okta, SailPoint, Keycloak, etc.)
  • At Least 1-2 years of experience supporting Enterprise Applications or Directories (e.g. Active Directory, Workday, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Familiarity with general IT concepts such as networking, databases, and client/server architectures
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with data ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) concepts and applications
  • Familiarity with web application architecture
