Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding at Wayfair is responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and on-boarding new suppliers. Our fast-paced and talented global team is on a mission to conquer the US and European market by adding the most promising industry suppliers from countries all over the world. We are at the forefront when it comes to expanding Wayfair’s selection and we constantly seek new business opportunities within our chosen product categories and markets.

The Onboarding Associate role provides a mix of project management, business analysis, strategy design and implementation, in collaboration with global teams. We achieve our goals through meticulous project management, process improvement and execution focus. In addition, you will make decisions on the most appropriate tools and levers required to onboard committed suppliers and set them up for success at Wayfair. 

What You'll Do

  • This role will focus on onboarding new suppliers at scale, using various project management - and automation tools
  • Work within a dynamic, motivated and driven team based in Berlin - own your supplier base within the on-boarding environment and contribute to the company’s targets
  • Work alongside cross-functional stakeholders to identify new potentials and blockers, and together with your peers develop solutions, roadmaps and execute on them
  • Use data to analyse and interpret processes & progress, constantly improve working flows to increase efficiency & output and develop incremental business

What You'll Need

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin
  • Fluency in German is advantageous 
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on commercial experience
  • Comfortable in a technology-driven, numbers-oriented business environment
  • Articulate, persuasive and personable communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong process orientation and very efficient and self-organized ways of working
  • Demonstrated success in building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Professional experience in a sales, business development, eCommerce or procurement/buying
  • Proven track record of constantly reaching or outperforming targets
