Wayfair’s Exclusive Brands team is responsible for end-to-end management of the Flagship Brands portfolio, which provides homes for Wayfair’s best selling exclusive products. The brands we’re developing will combine Wayfair’s highly practical & deeply analytic DNA with inspirational photography and merchandising best practices — to further differentiate Wayfair from our competitors. We are looking to hire an additional member in our team to help drive this initiative and contribute to the growth of our brands. 

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting brand management activities and elevating current brand building practices. Daily responsibilities include participating in brand launch campaign activities, creating campaign briefs, conducting competitor research, and aligning with internal teams such as Brand Creative and Marketing. This role provides significant exposure to one of Wayfair’s key strategic initiatives: to build a comprehensive portfolio of proprietary brands by adopting a global vision and localizing as appropriate.

We are looking for candidates who are available for 6 months starting in August/September 2021.

What You'll Do 

  • Perform strategic and operational brand management for new and existing Flagship Brands
  • Manage the relevant marketing mix activities, prepare and present brand activation plans
  • Forge and expand strong internal relationships with teams such as Marketing and Creative 
  • Conduct business analysis and report on key performance indicators
  • Develop and maintain industry knowledge; stay on top of market trends in interior design 
  • Support the team with brand building and research activities 
  • Support creative and production teams in developing effective strategies, selecting the most effective media platforms, organizing when and where materials should be placed, and estimating costs
  •  Develop, coordinate, manage, and implement advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with the team in assessing advertising needs, establishing annual budgets, and setting goals for the team

What You'll Need 

  • (Prospective) Graduate in Business, Marketing or Communications would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Attention to detail and an eye for style 
  • Equal passion for creative processes and business KPIs
  • Expert in organizing a high workload and working out a prioritization
