Are you looking to join a fast-growing, entrepreneurial team within Wayfair that uses data and insights to improve the customer experience and drive revenue growth? The Global B2C Sales team is Wayfair’s pre-sale customer support and solution engine. We use data and machine learning to understand customer needs on a personalized, shopping session level and use these insights in real-time to connect customers with the optimal experience and expertise. We deliver this expertise through a range of digital and analog tools - chatbot, SMS, Whatapp, and phone support with deep category knowledge to help customers navigate through our extensive catalog. and marry this with the optimal solution, ranging from a chat bot to high-touch, personalized sales support. This is a key element of how we can increasingly delight our customers by providing them with a faster and better solution to their needs, while driving further affinity for our brand. 

The European B2C Sales team already supports our DE and UK customers through phone support provided by a dedicated field sales team. We are poised for explosive growth to help Wayfair address the estimated €350B+ European home goods market. To fuel this growth, we are looking for a few exceptional individuals to join our leadership team and drive overall strategy, program and product management across the Global B2C organization and cross-functionally with the rest of Wayfair EU. This includes partnering with teams such as Category Management, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Service, and Engineering

 

What you’ll do

  • Define the operating metrics for our business and lead monthly operating reviews
  • Partner with the B2C Sales leadership team to define, produce and align organizational KPIs with with Wayfair EU leadership
  • Directly own multiple cross-functional projects and associated goals. You will jointly define these projects with the B2C EU leadership team and they will span product, engineering, data science, marketing, category management. Get ready to deliver big impact for our field organization and our customers! 
  • Own analytics and insights for B2C Europe; use these to develop our expansion plans across geographies, categories and capabilities in partnership with other Wayfair EU teams

What you’ll need 

  • Experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy or product/program management in a high-growth environment
  • Track record of driving tangible results across teams in a fast paced/ ambiguous environment, with a collaborative approach
  • Fluency in Excel / analyses and ability to quickly draw insights with data; Experience with database queries / SQL / Tableau / stats packages is  a plus
  • An entrepreneurial and ownership mindset
  • A strong appetite to understand “why” something is the way it is (sales agent behavior, backend data infrastructure, data science models, test results, customer journeys, etc.)
