Leader of Wayfair Product Videos (Senior Manager) - BOSTON, MA Copley

The Product Video Team is a new, fast-paced, growing team at Wayfair that manages the creation of videos to help customers better understand a product’s features and functionality. This is an initiative the CEO is closely invested in. Wayfair's Product Video Team is exciting, as we get to define what the video strategy for Wayfair should be.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the strategy and vision for product videos at Wayfair. Creating a 6 month roadmap for the evolution of Wayfair videos.
  • Partner with other key video efforts across Wayfair (ex. Wayfair on demand youtube segment) to ensure our video strategies are aligned across Wayfair.
  • Test into the optimal video content for customers (customer testing, A/B testing, talking to experts) and the optimal placement for videos (On the tray? Bottom of the page?).
  • Continue to scale and mature a new production pipeline to produce these videos at scale. Ability to identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and optimize for customer.
  • Communicate with exec stakeholders and drive a highly cross functional team.
  • Own budget and identify cost efficiencies to reduce the cost per video produced.
  • Utilize data to drive decisions.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience with enhancing processes, continuous improvement, tools development, reporting, metrics, and policies in Operations, Engineering, Consulting, Strategy, or Finance 
  • Ability to analyze data sets to drive decisions on highest impact areas
  • Rigorous and transparent organization and execution Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of seniority; exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Collaborative by nature; ability to build relationships and buy-in to drive change effectively in a positive manner 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and/or prior experience in a high-growth/startup environment; willingness to roll-up sleeves, dig in, and hustle Advanced degree is a plus
