Maintenance Engineer

Lutterworth, UK

Full time, Permanent   

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to help set up and maintain a brand-new Distribution Centre at Magna Park, Lutterworth. The applicant will help set up facilities maintenance activities for the site and will ensure that all equipment is maintained to a high standard, helping to set up and test a brand-new CMMS. There will be new automation equipment installed over the next 12 months, including sorters, conveyors etc. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in facilities and automation with the opportunity to progress in the future. What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the electrical and mechanical equipment on site, ensuring Health and Safety compliance is maintained
  • Ensure maximum uptime of plant and equipment
  • Ensure all preventative maintenance is carried out in specified time
  • Ensure regulatory compliance regarding facilities maintenance
  • Responsible for the management of contractors on site
  • Train and mentor support engineers when needed, helping them grow by mentoring, pairing, and developing other learning opportunities
  • Comply with COSHH, RAMS, PTW processes

What You'll Need

  • Electrical qualification HNC/BTEC and NVQ level 3 or higher
  • City & Guilds 2382-15 18th Edition preferred
  • Experienced in fault finding electromechanical equipment
  • Good PC skills (Google Sheets/BMS/maintenance engineering software)
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior members
  • Experience with automated equipment (conveyors, sorters etc)
  • Facilities maintenance experience (BMS, Sprinklers, docks, HVAC etc)
  • H&S qualification (eg IOSH)
  • Experience in supervising a maintenance team
  • Experience with PLC controls, fault finding, programming, especially Allen Bradley
