International Supply Chain (ISC) is a digital freight forwarding organization within Wayfair's broader CastleGate Logistics network. We offer a full suite of shipping services (Asia consolidation, ocean freight, drayage, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, etc.) that aims to provide Wayfair suppliers with competitive and convenient logistics solutions. As part of the ISC’s Marketing & Business Incubation team, you will play a key role in evolving the team’s at-scale vision and executing on our strategic business lines. This is a highly visible and exciting role and one that will offer the right candidate an opportunity to evaluate, own and drive strategic roadmap for new services while strengthening our marketing roadmap and vision. Success in this role means to:

  • Define and establish KPIs to evaluate attractiveness and build prioritization matrix for all services and customer segments (future focus) via customer feedback, market gap assessment and benchmarking
  • Influence senior-most leadership and critical stakeholders by presenting data backed business case behind Go/No-Go decision
  • Build clear roadmap and governance to outline dependencies, ownership and scope of launching and scaling new services, and articulate handoff process at maturity
  • Articulate Marketing vision and path forward to enable leadership to define Marketing and branding strategy (short & long term), customer persona and campaigns for sales growth

 

What You'll Do

  • Own and operate PMO for all of ISC’s new services and new customer segments (launch, scale, centralize pilots, governance and handoff) till they attain maturity and operate as BaU
  • Evaluate customer needs, market gaps and benchmark against competitive landscape to build generate service portfolio for evaluation
  • Own Go/No-Go, and prioritization (based on financials, capabilities, customer needs) of services in order to roll out prioritized services
  • Define success KPIs as well as Track & Monitor dashboards for new services
  • Build roadmap for mid/long term branding strategy, collateral development and external communications
  • Partner with Supplier facing teams to gather customer feedback and iterate ISC branding / value prop continuously
  • Partner with ISC Sales & Service (NA and EU) for sales enablement (increasing pipeline), customer loyalty and retention
  • Identify opportunities to increase marketing funnel / channel strategy (internal and external) such as website, Supplier extranet positioning, news/media/events
  • Periodically present new services business case and marketing channel launches to senior leadership

 

What You'll Need

    • Experience in financial modeling (high degree of comfort with presentations, spreadsheets to process and simplify data for digestion)
    • Experience managing process improvement initiatives and cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders, and pivoting quickly if needed
    • Ability to manage workplan with minimal supervision, engaging leadership appropriately when needed
    • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and enable quick decision making under pressure with bias for action
