The Global B2C Sales team is Wayfair’s pre-sale customer support and solution engine. We use data to understand customer needs and marry this with the optimal solution, ranging from a chat bot to high-touch, personalized sales support. This is a key element of how we can increasingly delight our customers by providing them with a faster and better solution to their needs, while driving further affinity for our brand.

We are building out the European B2C Sales team and looking for a manager to join the team and help us scale. You will be in a highly visible role, regularly interfacing with field sales, product, engineering, and marketing leadership to build excitement and gain alignment on the vision for EU B2C sales.

What you’ll do

  • Help define and the produce the operating metrics for our business on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Partner with the GM, B2C Sales Europe to define and then produce KPIs that define the success of our organization, and help align these KPIs with other senior EU leaders
  • Participate in the cross-function goals, project definition and business reviews with key stakeholder teams (product, engineering, data science, marketing, category management), including direct ownership of a subset of these goals and review topics
  • Produce analytics and insights to help inform and prioritize the hiring plan for field sales, as we look to expand coverage to new geographies, categories and capabilities in partnership with other Wayfair EU teams

 

What you’ll need 

  • Experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy or product/program management in a high-growth environment is a plus.
  • Track record of driving tangible results across teams in a fast paced/ ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
  • Fluency in Excel / analyses and ability to quickly draw insights with data is required. Experience with database queries / SQL / Tableau / stats packages, a plus
  • An entrepreneurial and ownership mindset
  • A strong desire to see the team around you thrive
  • A ‘get stuff done’ mentality with a highly collaborative attitude
