To achieve this goal the EU returns team is collaborating across different teams such as transportation, customer service, warehouse operations, category management and tech to improve customer experience, returns flow, reverse logistics, sustainability and returns monetization.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive key initiatives to improve our European reverse supply chain to ensure a hassle-free customer experience and to contribute to a sustainable recovery of returns
  • Create end-to-end visibility along the entire reverse supply chain to identify and solve structural and operational challenges
  • Establish yourself as the go-to-person within the EU Returns & Incident Resolutions team for the management of our reverse supply chain for current and future markets
  • Build relationships with a diverse set of global stakeholders including Tech, Wayfair warehouses, Carrier Mgmt., and Finance, by executing a cohesive roadmap in a matrix organization with ownership divided across specialized teams which requires understanding, influencing and motivating many different teams and individuals
  • Support the implementation and ramp-up of new logistics solutions across Europe and contribute to a global roadmap
  • Analyze data to identify, root cause and size gaps in carrier, supplier and logistics processes and propose strategies to mitigate project risks and roadblocks
  • Prepare executive level briefings in collaboration with the EU Returns & Incident Resolutions leadership

 

What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor and/or Masters Degree
  • Relevant experience (4+ years), preferably (but not necessarily limited to) in online retail, supply chain and/or management consulting is a plus  
  • Ability to thrive in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment, with a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Ability to develop, articulate, and execute strategy
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English (German a plus) with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced data driven environment with a collaborative working style and ability to develop people
  • Skilled analytical and critical thinker; someone who looks to data for answers and opportunities (GBQ and SQL are a plus)
  • Strong project management skills paired with process thinking
  • Challenge existing standards and advocate for improvements by setting new standards
