The team sits at the intersection of operations and technology, and whose work results in the fast, reliable data exchange required to protect the experience of our mutual customers.  The Supplier Integration’s team is critical to that effort, ensuring data is reliable and we are enabling scalable growth.

 

About the Role:

The Supplier Integrations team’s mission is to achieve best-in-class integrations between our family of 10,000+ suppliers and Wayfair in order to drive exceptional customer service and enable fast, efficient, and reliable fulfillment operations today and in the future. This is accomplished by building real-time performance monitoring, enabling our suppliers to send reliable data, and ensuring our Wayfair systems are scalable.  This is a unique position that will enable individuals to learn and explore the Wayfair supply chain ecosystem, collaborating with a number of cross-functional teams to support our suppliers and our Wayfair systems.

 

The ideal candidate is an energetic team player who understands how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company.  Strong analytical skills are required to analyze performance and efficacy of solutions. Due to the cross-functional nature of this position and high visibility with senior leadership, effective communication, leadership, and senior presence are highly valued.  Additionally, structured prioritization and creative problem solving skills are both essential.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Build and execute on strategy to improve data integrity, process efficiency, and supplier integration health
  • Build and analyze data sets between Wayfair and Wayfair’s supplier base in order to identify the highest impact opportunity areas for improving customer and supplier experiences
  • Design and implement new tools in order to improve internal processes and drive efficiencies in the integration space
  • Complete process mapping of technical and operational workflows
  • Effectively prioritize a large number of opportunities to drive impact to focus area, demonstrating and articulating an understanding of how the work impacts broader operations key performance indicators and the business as a whole
  • Closely collaborate with Product and Engineering partners to manage complex and technical projects

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Good judgement: Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations, including balancing efficiency and data analysis with high quality standards and a sense of what is “right” for the customer
  • Senior presence: Ability to clearly and consistently work side-by-side across functions and departments synthesizing multiple points of view into a coherent action plan
  • Analytical: Process-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets and making data-driven decisions
  • Team player: Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
