The Marketing team is looking for a driven, analytical leader to drive the growth of our US business through TV marketing. This is a leadership role where you will define the overarching channel strategy, develop our media plans, and analyze results to continually evolve our media strategy based on performance trends. This is a unique opportunity to own a large P&L, manage a direct team of analysts, and lead marketing campaigns aimed at generating awareness, shifting brand perceptions, and driving traffic for the Wayfair brand.

 

What You'll Do

  • Function as the General Manager of the channel, managing the overall execution, performance and effectiveness of Wayfair’s US TV campaign, including Linear and associated Connected TV
  • Cultivate and own relationships with network partners (e.g., NBC, Discovery, etc.) and external vendors to test new formats, and drive innovation within our campaign
  • Maintain industry expertise and synthesize opportunities from market and competitive trends to ensure Wayfair’s TV campaigns and internal agency are best-in-class
  • Partner closely with technology partner teams, including MarTech, Data Eng and Data Science, to develop robust channel measurement and attribution capabilities and streamline campaign management operations
  • Manage, coach and develop team of US TV analysts that execute our in-house media buying across TV campaigns

 

What You'll Need

  • 7-12 years of experience in a quantitative and analytical role leveraging a combination of analytical and brand-building skill sets
  • An interest in being in a right- and left- brain role - thinking about improvements to our attribution models as well as enhancements to our ad creative
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work for yourself and others based on highest impact and interdependencies in a complex environment
  • Experience making data-based decisions and recommendations, and ability to be hands on in the data analysis process
  • 2+ years of direct management experience or 3+ years of project leadership experience, and demonstrated success coaching/upskilling direct team or mentees
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action
