Wayfair believes everyone should live in a home they love. To achieve that the Merchandising Selection team helps build Wayfair’s long-term vision of providing the best selection of products for the home across all markets. Our team collaborates with multiple stakeholders to obtain the right selection for the consumer.

The Wayfair Merchandising Selection team is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and process focused member to join our business in Berlin as we continue our ambitious plan to build the best selection of products for the home. In this role, you will become an expert on product selection. You will use your skills to evaluate and optimize processes, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and support the management and growth of our enormous product catalog.

What You'll Do

  • Work with our third party offshore vendor partners to manage operations and drive process and operational improvements to increase efficiency and quality of product submission for internal and external stakeholders
  • Build relationships with cross-functional, global teams and collaborate with them on centralized projects
  • Analyse metrics and related data within the product catalog to identify opportunities for growth, as well as to track the success of your executed initiatives
  • Think outside of the box to come up with creative solutions to supplier pain points
  • Adhere to defined best practices and methods/procedures to drive improvements across Wayfair
  • Effectively and independently drive projects with guidance from management
  • Communicate process updates effectively with cross-functional and global stakeholders

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant work or internship experience (experience within an e-commerce organization and/or within the home space is a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills; able to navigate big sets of structured and unstructured data within Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with GBQ and Data Studio a plus
  • Entrepreneurial, analytical and process-oriented, comfortable learning data analysis 
  • Able to coordinate global, cross-functional projects, providing clear & constructive feedback to other teams and levels
  • Able to execute priorities effectively and follow through on commitments to meet deadlines
  • Highly detail oriented; unafraid of complexity
  • Enthusiastic and positive, with a strong willingness to learn and grow
  • Fluency in French, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish or German is a plus
