The Wayfair Samples team is looking for a self-motivated problem-solver and project manager to join our business as we build and refine conversion-driving levers to increase customer confidence in their purchases. This person will own and drive strategic projects to enable increased sample coverage online and in physical retail, apply quantitative and entrepreneurial skills to deliver a best-in-class multi-channel shopping experience,  support the management and growth of our enormous product catalog, and be a crucial cross-functional partner to multiple teams across the organization, working together to develop and implement strategic improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Manage strategy and execution for expanded samples fulfilment options including implementation and maintenance of 3P and in-house programs including detailed roll-out plans across suppliers, stores, e-commerce, and physical retail
  • Set, own and communicate multiple project timelines, set goals against milestones, keep projects on track and communicate progress to broader cross-functional team
  • Track and monitor program costs, chase creative ways to reduce costs while balancing cross functional needs
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in physical retail, category management, product content, product managers, and suppliers on status and action plans for high-priority, high-impact projects 
  • Analyze site and store metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve sample-driven conversion rate and customer confidence
  • Track the results of past actions, report out effectively and make decisions based on learning and data.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and trust by improving the quality of our product catalog leveraging tools, data and offshore resources effectively 
  • Research trends, opportunities and competitors to discover new ways to improve customer experience within the product category.
  • Manage a direct report and guide them towards career success.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, experience in project management roles a plus
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
  • Able to coordinate global, cross-functional projects, providing clear & constructive feedback to other teams and levels
  • Proactive and eager to constantly seek out opportunities to make an impact
  • Analytical thinker who looks for (and finds) answers in the data, comfortable learning new data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done
  • Highly detail oriented; unafraid of complexity
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable navigating structured and unstructured data; familiarity with SQL, GCP a plus.
  • Proficiency with Excel 
  • Comfortable working with and learning new technology 
  • Ability to “hit the ground running” – a self-starter capable of achieving specific target goals
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset
