Shift: 4on 4off, 06:00 - 16:00 

Full Time, permanent position

 

This position provides support to the daily facility operation. The role involves delivering the plan for MHE training, both initial and regular refresher, in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Preparation and planned training activities including documentation and resource allocation to ensure successful completion and coordination. Some Flexibility is also required to cover for other members of the team and during peak periods. Reporting in to the MHE Training Supervisor.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure all training is carried out in line with statutory guidelines.
    • Regular refresher training.
    • Adequate training times
  • Ensure all statutory paperwork requirements are met
    • Assist with audits of site MHE documentation
  • Ensure all paperwork suitably filed and managed
    • All training and evidence to be documented
    • All refresher training to be scheduled where required
  • Assist with management of LOLER assets on site along with requisite inspections and records
  • Ensure drivers are periodically audited and maintain records
    • Safe operation of MHE
  • Ensure training matrix is up to date
    • Use of operations training matrix 
  • Be the on site expert on the MHE equipment and management programs
  • Ensure MHE is suitably managed regarding downtime, condition and charging
    • Records of charging
    • Regular housekeeping of MHE
    • Topping up batteries.
  • Work with the ops team in regards to incident reporting, damage and faulty MHE reporting 
    • Use of reporting application
    • Monitor downtime of MHE
    • Managing and reporting VOR'd trucks to the Operation
  • Work with H&S department in regards to Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
  • Manage the Connect, Service Desk and access system
    • Produce various reports 
    • Downtime
    • Utilisation

 

What You'll Have:

  • Accredited instructor with a recognised training body (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT).
  • 1 years of practical experience in MHE Training.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills—to include MS Office/Google applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Training background is essential.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to drive changes and best practices.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment.
  • Abseil instructor / Willing to attend training in this discipline.
