Title: Inclusion Partnerships Senior Associate

Location: Boston, MA

The Military Community Engagement Program Manager will be responsible for owning and championing the strategic military hiring strategy across all Talent Acquisition hiring teams. Wayfair’s military recruitment strategy focuses on pipeline building, employer branding, identifying and sourcing veterans with specialized military skill sets and maintaining meaningful relationships with internal and external organizations to continually attract, hire, and retain top military talent.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and program manage multi-year recruitment strategy to attract and retain military talent across the Wayfair network 
  • Gain a deep understanding of Wayfair hiring needs, from field to corporate based roles
  • Autonomously manage strategic external partnerships with veteran service organizations and sourcing channels
  • Increase the visibility and standardize our partnerships across recruiting teams
  • Identify which recruiting teams should leverage partnerships to maximize ROI and liaise with them
  • Partner with talent acquisition leaders and business leadership to drive successful delivery of a qualified military talent pipeline
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with talent acquisition, business stakeholders and the Military Community employee resource group to develop and implement military recruiting strategies centered on attracting and hiring diverse talent
  • Train and support talent acquisition team to engage in military recruiting at a localized level
  • Build Wayfair brand awareness and foster relationships with military base transition centers supporting transitioning military personnel and spouses
  • Host and participate in on-base, local and national hiring events/career fairs that focuses on veteran hiring and promotes Wayfair’s commitment to veteran employment
  • Maintain standardized metrics for core, common and critical processes, related to military recruiting

What You’ll Need

  • Prior military service OR veteran recruiting experience preferred
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Proven project/program management experience 
  • Experience and comfortability transitioning military language
  • Experience planning, coordinating and executing hiring events with external organizations
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • Ability to be self-directed and autonomous with a high sense of urgency, while also effectively collaborating and working in a team environment
  • Experience with developing, measuring, and driving results from ROI and other key analytics
  • Ability to leverage data to drive decision making with senior stakeholders 
  • Ability to handle internal client management, work cross-functionally, provide strong customer consultative skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
