In the event an order issue is escalated, we empower our Ops Services team to resolve the issue. We are looking for a data-driven, analytical, collaborative minded project manager, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a background in process improvement/implementation. This is a highly visible and exciting role for the company and one that will offer the right candidate an opportunity to lead high impact initiatives for several operational functions.

What You'll Do

  • Scope analyses for and directly manage a small group (1 -3) of data specialists, who will be performing routine and ad-hoc data analysis and building data queries in SQL and Google Big Query
  • Lead strategic initiatives to optimize existing workflows and stand up new workflows, serving as project manager and aligning key stakeholders across the company to ensure success
  • Scope and lead the execution of process improvement opportunities to improve customer experience, turnaround times, productivity, and quality of execution
  • Assist with development and roll out of new workflows and transitions, through leading process design and developing key measures of success
  • Stabilize & optimize existing processes while working with tech partners for process automation
  • Develop meaningful and impactful KPIs for operational teams
  • Scope various analyses and development of data visualization tools to increase data velocity for our teams 
  • Look for opportunities within the teams’ workflows to become more proactive and reduce the number of negative stakeholder (e.g. customer, supplier, carrier) interactions

What You'll Need

  • A combination of strategic and analytical thinking, an interest in innovating to solve business problems creatively and a willingness to hit the ground running
  • Comfort with measuring success using data to support development of KPIs
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving process improvements, garnering buy in from stakeholders to drive projects forward
  • A customer-centric approach, and the ability to build positive partnerships with internal and external groups to optimize performance
  • Process-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Problem solving mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and self-reliant
  • Experience with retail, supply chain, logistics and/or ecommerce is a plus
  • BA or BS required and experience in one of the following fields: data analytics, operations management, process improvement
