Monday - Friday Shift Pattern                                                                                                                                      

Due to growth in our European warehouses, Wayfair is looking a Planning & Performance Manager to be based in our state of the art fulfilment centre located in Magna Park, Lutterworth. The successful candidate will be part of the European Warehouse & Distribution Team reporting directly to the Operation Manager. 

What You'll Do:

  • Use forecasts and processing data to produce short, medium and long term plans in conjunction with operations
  • Collaborate with support functions to ensure the right levels of consumables and handling equipment are available to meet demands
  • Work closely with operations on the shop-floor to understand process flows and how these impact site capability
  • Help maintain a skills matrix to ensure efficient utilization of capability
  • Work closely with EU inbound and outbound planning teams to improve forecasting
  • Convert data into useable information to help highlight opportunities and drive actions
  • Review historical operational performance to identify and execute improvements
  • Support site projects as necessary
  • Adhere to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.
  • Organize and conduct necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
  • Ensuring all accidents and near misses are recorded in the appropriate manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Driven and focused to exceed KPI targets, contribute towards the Company’s objectives and develop their departments within a rewarding and challenging environment.
  • Drive specific initiatives that have proven business results.
  • Accurately, quickly, and clearly answer questions related to your area of focus.

What You'll Need:

  • Advance knowledge of excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience in analyzing data and packing data to present to the senior team
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as Kanban systems
  • Experience within a high-volume warehouse environment in  Supervisory position.
  • Exposure to a range of warehouse activities including inbound processes, put-away, order picking (large and small items) and shipping.
  • Working understanding of the WMS system (Warehouse Management System).
  • Enthusiastic, quick learner with proven ability to deliver result
  • Proficient in use of MS Office programs
