The team you’ll work with:

Our Supplier team is dedicated to the design, delivery and continuous optimization of a world-class enterprise application - Partner Home - for our Suppliers to manage their business with Wayfair.

We’re looking for a strong and experienced design leader with a background in enterprise design, agile product environments and systems thinking to help us deliver exceptional Supplier outcomes through our Partner Home application. 

What you’ll do:

  • Champion the end-to-end Supplier experience across all applications, features and tools Wayfair Suppliers use in managing their business with Wayfair
  • Partner closely with Supplier Product and Engineering leadership to define the product vision for our Supplier platform, contribute to product roadmaps and operational planning
  • Partner with other Supplier design leads across multiple workgroups, coordinating efforts to achieve unified solutions for all touchpoints across the Supplier’s journey
  • Oversee multiple atomic teams, drive strong cross-functional collaboration and support teams with rituals and practices focused on optimal Supplier outcomes
  • Guide the work of a multi-disciplinary experience design team comprised of product designers, user researchers, and content strategists in the creation of elegant solutions to complex problems through optimal user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate and validate designs and outcomes
  • Drive enterprise pattern definition and usage across the Supplier experience 
  • Drive alignment through purpose, inspire designers, user researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers to deliver the best work of their careers
  • Partner with the Global Head of Experience Design to drive awareness, growth and maturity of the Experience Design function

What you’ll need:  

  • 12+ years of experience as a user experience designer or interaction designer, or similar role
  • 7+ years of experience managing a collaborative design team in an agile product environment
  • 5+ years of experience managing managers and associate directors
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating human-centered design solutions and showing your ability to turn ideas into a strong and unique creative vision
  • Experience leading design for a variety of form factors including: mobile, tablet, and desktop interfaces
  • Experience leading and delivery full life cycle design projects, from design strategy through execution
  • Fluency in best practices for enterprise information architecture and design, usability principles, and designing accessible and inclusive applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with proven track record of presenting to and influencing senior management
  • Proven ability to work across teams and synthesize end-user feedback and input from business leaders, product management, and engineering teams
