Product Marketing Manager

Partner Home (PH) is Wayfair’s supplier facing ecosystem that enables our 16,000+ supplier-partners to manage and grow their business through Wayfair.  As part of that ecosystem, Supplier Marketing closely collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, Category and Ops teams in order to drive successful outcomes for our supplier base.


As Manager of Supplier Recommendations and Notifications Automation, you will be part of the global Supplier Marketing team whose mission it is to drive supplier engagement & success across Wayfair’s platform by surfacing the right content & messaging, at the right time, through the right channels, to the right supplier contact. You will fully own several work streams on the global tech and testing roadmap as well as their outcomes for Wayfair’s supplier base. You will report into the Associate Director, triggered Supplier Notifications.

Job Description

Wayfair’s supplier notifications and recommendations team that drives suppliers to take high value actions on our platform, helping them grow their business jointly with us. We use data, analytics, and technology to communicate with suppliers, and we measure our success based on email metrics, platform activity, conversion, and ultimately tangible results. We are a diverse, international team of entrepreneurial minds driven by business impact and value extraction both for our cross-functional internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Working on our team, you will utilize project management, communication, problem solving, technical and analytical skills. You will work with cross-functional partners on supplier marketing campaigns, aiming at enabling our suppliers to work with our commercial platform and tools at scale. This provides exciting opportunities to not only create impact on our P&L, but also stay on top of state-of-the-art technological developments.

What You'll Do

  • Support our partner teams in creating automated recommendations and notifications campaigns, including trigger logic, content, sequencing and outcome measurement.
  • Define relevant user-stories and own implementation of several initiatives to automate notifications & recommendation along the end to end supplier journey.
  • Work closely with global commercial teams (e.g. Category Management, Promotions, Operations) to compile business requirements for your initiatives.
  • Partner with global Product Management & Engineering teams to drive tech solutions to translate user stories into notifications & automation feature releases.
  • Understand and map out the current logic driving recommendation and notification automation. Pull and analyze large data sets to inform decision making.
  • Measure results of the status quo and continuously experiment, test and refine automated work streams within your scope.
  • Be a sparring partner to the Supplier Marketing team and the Partner Home organization to further the strategy of Wayfair’s supplier communication.

What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative field (math, economics, statistics, physics, engineering, etc.).
  • Experience in marketing or other analytical functions in high growth companies (incl. experience in leading and developing senior teams in these functions).
  • Track record of helping product & engineering teams design and build scalable, end-to-end experiences and features.
  • Strong analytical / structured problem-solving skills incl. experience in mining large data sets.
  • Familiarity with SQL/Big Query preferred, including a desire to develop the skill set. Other languages such as Python a plus.
  • Ability to translate supplier/business needs into clear and succinct requirements. Ability to work across functional boundaries.
  • Be curious, passionate, and have a strong work ethic.
