The Program Manager, Sourcing Strategy operates as a consultative partner to our Recruiting and Operations teams, delivering customized, data-driven, and strategic top-of-funnel solutions that enable Wayfair to hire high quality, diverse talent across our locations, at the lowest cost. As a Program Manager, you will partner internally and externally to develop and execute on top of funnel strategies that drive recruitment outcomes. 

While there is a baseline expectation around data and analysis, the person in this role will distinguish themselves in their ability to communicate the results of the analysis; proactively develop and scope prioritized, data-driven recommendations; partner with recruiting teams in driving the recommendations to completion; act with a sense of urgency; and make continuous improvements that quantify through their impact on the business

What You’ll Do: 

  • Perform relevant research to inform the development of the teams strategic initiatives 
  • Develop and maintain close working relationship with recruiting managers, senior leaders, and external vendors
  • Manage project plans and timelines, while tracking progress towards our priority goals 
  • Serve as an SME and drive data-backed insights regarding best practices around job titles, job descriptions, etc. to ensure job posts are getting maximum, organic exposure
  • Provides regular audits of job posts to ensure compliance with job board regulations 
  • Perform trend analysis of sourcing channels to understand baseline organic performance of hires by channel. Then work backward to understand how much traffic we need to drive TOF in order to meet hiring goals as they arise, analyzing whether organic channels are sufficient to fill hiring need or if we need to pull additional levers 
  • Regularly monitor the data, particularly during major hiring periods, to understand if our sourcing channels are performing as expected (or better or worse) and proactively make recommendations on improvement as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • 5+ yrs. of program management or recruiting experience
  • “Big picture thinker” with the ability to manage and track multiple organization relationships and related work plans to achieve cost beneficial outcomes
  • Proven record of moving projects from concept to completion 
  • Data driven with the ability to take initiative
  • Experience with piloting ideas and scaling what works 
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Execute detail-oriented project management across multiple projects with varying timelines 
  • Energized by working in a fast-paced, data-driven culture
