This is a chance to support and be a part of Wayfair’s project initiatives across Engineering and the Business as a Project Manager within the Engineering department. We are looking for a go-getter project manager that has an approachable personality, strong organizational skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and would like the opportunity to have an immediate impact on managing projects within a rapidly growing organization. 

What You'll Do
-Manage multiple medium projects from scoping through delivery; this includes gathering requirements, identifying scope, outlining milestones, driving implementation, risk management, and managing expectations while facilitating on time delivery.
-Manage project portfolio by fostering a team mentality and collaboration, providing clear business communication across all levels of the organization, and maintaining focus to ensure the most favorable outcome for the company.
-Establish and maintain all aspects of project documentation such that it conveys an easily consumable storyline.
-Build and maintain successful partnerships across Wayfair engineering and business units to enable predictable delivery of highly visible projects.
-Motivate and drive a fun culture that promotes hard work by fostering collaboration within the project teams.
-Work effectively with the Project Management team to improve processes, by analyzing and solving business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities.
-Support the promotion and communicate the Project Management services with the project teams you manage.
-Support senior project managers on their projects as assigned.

What You'll Need
-2+ years of project management experience, and preferred exposure to software engineering or technical infrastructure projects.
-Demonstrable track record of managing cross-functional teams in order to achieve critical business initiatives.
-Excellent communication skills to effectively interact and influence at various levels of the organization.
-A good understanding of project methodology and how to apply it to real world situations. Has worked with project management software, or InfoHub/Project Hub preferred.
-Exposure to a wide range of Wayfair operations, services and technologies
-Excellent interpersonal skills, an interest in working hard, are flexible and enjoy being challenged in a fast-paced environment.
-A self-starter, with a proactive mindset to own and drive their work independently
