What’s the Role?

Wayfair is looking for a Labor Management System (LMS) Support Specialist to join our growing Industrial Engineering team and help get the most out of LMS.   The role will work with the Industrial Engineering team to manage the configuration of LMS, perform analysis and support, and help in the development of the LMS Reports.

Shift Times: Monday-Friday: 6:00 am EST- 3:00 pm EST

Location: Remote or On-Site (if near location)

Key Responsibilities:

  • As part of a collaborative team, participate in the ongoing design, configuration and reporting for the Labor Management System
  • Diagnose and resolve issues (e.g. - end-user, business process, security, integration, etc…)
  • Partner with Warehouse Operations colleagues to create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases
  • Create and maintain end-user and training documentation; and participate in training activities for Industrial Engineering and end-users    
  • Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the company’s internal/external audit controls and compliance practices
  • Participate actively in the LMS Community, propose and advocate for improvements to the LMS solution, and build a network of peers to best-practice-share with
  • Proactively monitor new features released by ProRep and advocate for appropriate adoption plans
  • Consistently project a high level of professionalism
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time-to-time

Desired Skills & Experience: 

  • Ability to problem solve and analyze data
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are essential
  • Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly is a must

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with labor management systems is a plus
