Operations Data  Analyst

Wayfair is reinventing the way people shop for their homes and providing relentless customer focus along their journey with a best-in-class Customer Service experience. In support of this vision, the data assets generated from our Contact Center 3rd party applications need to be stable, integrated, and analyzed for valuable business insights to drive innovation--and our team is making that happen.

What You'll Do

  • You will have the opportunity to design, build, and support new data collection processes from various 3rd party Contact Center applications using database queries and APIs.
  • With these data assets, you'll regularly monitor, analyze, and present powerful insights to senior leaders to collaborate on impactful strategic decisions.
  • Partnering with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds, you’ll translate their business requirements into technical tasks and organize projects in an agile workflow.
  • Create elegant, real-time dashboards with Google Data Studio and self-service visualization tools using applications like Looker and AtScale to watch emergent trends.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve our database infrastructure through architecting more scalable designs and automating manual business processes to question our status quo.

 

What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of experience programming in T-SQL (MSSQL) or Standard SQL (GBQ)
  • 2+ years of experience in the field of data analysis or business intelligence
  • Exposure to APIs and integrations between applications
  • Experience architecting, tuning, and supporting data warehouses and ETL processes
  • Experience creating data visualizations using dashboards and analytical cubes
  • Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to develop technical solutions
  • Experience working inside an Agile environment and using source control tools
  • Experience working with Call Center operations metrics and applications
