The Senior Manager on Wayfair’s End to End (E2E) visibility team plays a central role in enabling visibility of the physical and virtual global Supply Chain to effectively and efficiently manage Wayfair’s globally distributed Supply Chain network and to ensure delivery on our mantra of “Cost efficient, perfect orders @ scale”.

The candidate must be able to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment with Wayfair growing at an unprecedented 30-50% year over year. This is a highly visible and exciting role for the company and one that will offer the right candidate an opportunity to set up the data foundation and reshape our core operational functions. As a leader of the team, the successful candidate needs to be entrepreneurial, agile, strong in project management and critical thinking as we design the network of the future.

 

What You'll Do

  • Building and managing a high performing, dynamic team of analysts and specialists who can support on the process design, performance management and network design
  • Enabling a diverse set of internal global senior stakeholders, by executing a cohesive strategic plan in a matrix organization with ownership divided across specialized teams which requires understanding, influencing and motivating many different teams and individuals
  • Leading a key part of the E2E visibility roadmap - by defining key Milestones that will drive core visibility to steer our Supply chain today as well as setting Wayfair up for the future via a control tower 
  • Designing and redesigning the Delivery network business flow in alignment with the changing market and evolving internal and external customer needs
  • P&L control and performance management, driving efficiency and productivity to scale up over the next few years, while preserving the customer experience across the entire function
  • Aggressive footprint expansion over next 12-24 months, 50%+ travel required

 

What You'll Need

  • Extensive relevant experience (6+ yrs), for instance in management consulting or similar industries and/or e-commerce; familiarity with supply chain operations, logistics or home related industry is a plus 
  • Proven track record of leadership, taking ownership and driving results 
  • Ability to develop, articulate and execute strategy, incl. strong track record in managing projects spanning across and beyond quarters, involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders across ops and tech and across various levels.
  • Strong skills pertaining to analytical and critical thinking and steering the team towards a future oriented, data driven, service-focused, cost-effective supply chain “control tower” set up
  • Comfort in technology-driven business environment - and experience in partnering with product on large scale technology/ system implementations are a plus
  • Experience in hiring and building high-performance teams 
  • Proven crisis management capability and have the ability to handle extreme growth rate with confidence. Be fast and resourceful to grow capacity quickly.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity, stress, adversity and conflict to establish focus and deliver against business goals
