Our Marketing Team drives growth for AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main, and Perigold on core advertising platforms, but we aren’t your standard marketers.  We own the strategy, P&L, and product roadmaps for our portfolio of bleeding-edge and in-house-built marketing, machine learning, and AdTech products. We leverage our custom tools, problem-solving acumen, and ‘test-and-learn’ strategy to find and better serve our customers. 

 

The new Specialty Retail Brands and Perigold Growth Marketing Team’s mandate is to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty. As a Senior Manager, you will own and drive investments across the customer funnel on one major ad platform across all four brands. As the Team continues to grow, you will manage and coach a group of Channel Managers, developing an adaptable, interdependent, problem-solving Team that continuously learns through experimentation and innovation. You will collaborate with Brand CMOs and other business unit leaders throughout Wayfair to drive strategic decisions that directly impact the future growth of the Specialty Retail Brands and Perigold. The ideal candidate for this role is deeply analytical, highly adaptable, and has an entrepreneurial mindset. What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end growth marketing strategy and execution for AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main, and Perigold for one or more ad platforms
  • Hire, coach, and build an effective, interdependent, innovative Team of analysts that continuously experiments, welcomes change, is unafraid to failure, and prioritizes improving customer experience and outcomes
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including CMOs, Brand Management, Creative, MarTech, Data Science, and Storefront Engineering to contribute to our continuous efforts to improve our customer experience and Team outcomes
  • Lead your team in monitoring campaign performance, identifying key trends and insights, and decisioning 
  • Cultivate relationships throughout Marketing and the broader Company to share insights, generate testing ideas, and collaborate on experiments
  • Develop and grow relationships with external vendors to test new growth products and advertising tools and advance their product roadmaps 

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work for yourself and others based on highest impact and interdependencies in a complex environment
  • Experience making data-based decisions and recommendations, and ability to be hands on in the data analysis process; prior marketing experience is plus, but not a prerequisite for this role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • 1+ years of direct management experience or 2+ years of project leadership experience, and demonstrated success coaching/upskilling direct team or mentees
