The mission of the Partner Operations organization is to enable the commercial success of Wayfair’s Supplier Partners, by supporting them in executing the Wayfair recipe - optimizing the supply chain set up towards cost-effective perfect orders at scale.

We are looking for a driven and confident Senior Manager with strong attention-to-detail, the ability to consider the bigger picture when executing quantitative tasks, and effective communication skills to join the EU Availability team.  

What you will do:

As a Senior Manager, you will be a subject matter expert in in-stock management and sourcing for Wayfair’s European market. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Work cross-functionally with the supplier facing Partner Operations & Availability teams to develop and fine tune targeted strategies to optimize both Castlegate and Dropship inventory availability on the Wayfair storefront
  • Engage and work closely with our supplier partners to optimize inventory performance in both CastleGate and Dropship facilities
  • Coach, develop and influence Partner Ops and Availability team to think critically and creatively about optimizing sourcing and replenishment strategies 
  • Own the Availability agenda and successfully influence and drive your initiatives forward 
  • Lead key projects and initiatives to improve assigned metrics and drive results
  • Leverage and incorporate expertise of other functional experts to create holistic processes & inventory strategies with our partner suppliers 
  • Collaborate with Central Availability and tech departments to ensure that the Availability teams tasks are completed in a scalable and efficient manner at all times
  • Creatively challenge the status quo and ensure continuous improvement of the function

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for senior managers who have a proven track records in owning and driving major businesses/ initiatives and developing functions in environments such as:

  • E-Commerce
  • Inventory Planning & In Stock Management 
  • Purchasing & Supply Chain 
  • Retail

You will be a first class communicator and you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology and data-driven business environment.

Who you are:

  • Sufficient leadership experience – proven ability to lead a team and innovate in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • A strong focus on quantitative & analytical work
  • Advanced Excel User
  • Outstanding communication & persuasion skills to interact successfully with our many cross-functional teams and supplier partners
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Energized by your task – not scared of a challenge and always looking to take on more
  • Degree level qualification in business or a related field
  • Experience in Inventory Planning and or Sourcing is required
  • German language skills is a plus
