Online Video is a quickly growing marketing channel at Wayfair, with ambitious plans to drive growth via YouTube and streaming/connected TV video advertising across a range of partners, ad formats, and creative types. It is a key avenue for the growth of our specialty retail brands (AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane) and Perigold.

We are seeking a cross-functional leader to own this workstream end-to-end. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the expansion of our online video efforts across our portfolio of specialty retail and luxury brands. The position entails a high degree of senior visibility and involves working closely with brand managers and CMOs on a key awareness and growth lever for the brands. It offers the opportunity to develop a rigorous testing agenda in one of the most cutting edge areas of advertising today.

The Online Video team leverages advanced analytics, in-house attribution models, and rigorous testing to optimize and grow our channel and drive customer acquisition and retention. We strategize and develop engaging advertising in partnership with our in-house creative teams. We work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to solve complex analytical and technical challenges for the channel.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end online video marketing vision and strategy for AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane, and Perigold; driving growth across a variety of digital video platforms (Youtube and connected TV) in order to meet ROI goals and grow the businesses
  • Serve as the senior connector and cross-functional team leader aligning stakeholders from brand management, creative, production, and marketing on a shared channel vision
  • Build and oversee a direct team of analysts that analyzes and monitors campaign performance, identifies trends, makes optimizations to drive improvement, reacting to deviations from plans quickly and strategically
  • Drive video creative roadmaps – prioritizing, refining, and launching video assets in collaboration with in-house and external creative and production teams, based on the largest growth opportunities and business priorities
  • Cultivate and own relationships with external partners and vendors (including Google and other buying platforms) to test new growth products and advertising tools and advance their product roadmaps

What You’ll Need

  • 7-12+ years of experience in roles leveraging a combination of analytical and brand strategy skillsets
  • Experience successfully leading matrixed, cross-functional teams with a variety of stakeholders to execute on joint strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work for yourself and others based on highest impact and interdependencies in a complex environment
  • Experience making data-based decisions and recommendations, and ability to be hands on in the data analysis process
  • 2+ years of direct management experience or 3+ years of project leadership experience, and demonstrated success coaching/upskilling direct team or mentees
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action
