Supplier Acquisition & Partnerships at Wayfair is responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and acquiring new suppliers. The role provides a mix of sales and business development and is focused on continuously improving the department's efficiency. You will drive negotiations with C-Level stakeholders, internally and externally and build strong relationships with your partners. In addition, you will drive decisions on the most appropriate tools helping us to scale and improve our inbound and outbound channels. A highly visible role that allows you to shape the Supplier Acquisition and Onboarding (SA&O) approach in Europe. Shape the team's ambitious growth and efficiency targets by ensuring operational performance improvements & excellence.

 

What You'll Do

  • Drive and manage individual and team performance
  • Work collaboratively with  your peers and cross-functionally with other leaders to ensure alignment across businesses that will lead to the SA&O business segment’s success
  • Defining the best mix for customer acquisition, developing strategies and contributing to our sales toolkit and growth strategy
  • Ensure high standards of Sales Force execution and operational excellence, through continuous monitoring of sales productivity, effectiveness and quality.
  • Build out processes and execution capacity to make certain that CRM can scale with the ambition of the organisation.
  • Optimization of the sales and onboarding funnel & increasing process efficiency through mapping and improving the possible supplier acquisition journeys.
  • Maintain & improve  professional and technical knowledge of inbound marketing & sales
  • Develop and execute Inside Sales strategy (short-/mid and long term) aligned with the business & department’s strategy
  • You build and lead a team of high performers across diverse fields of expertise

 

What You'll Need

  • Experience within consulting, sales, business development.
  • Graduate degree in a STEM or Business related discipline
  • Fluency in English (other European languages a plus)
  • A proven ability to think strategically and collaborate with leadership to define and implement successful sales programs
  • Demonstrated success in building a technology-driven, numbers-oriented business environment, ideally leveraging from an existing experience on high-impact projects within the fields of sales, growth marketing, business development or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and rapidly changing organizations
  • Strong process orientation and very efficient and self-organized ways of working
  • business relationships with internal and external  stakeholders and in rolling out cross-functional projects that have measurable impact on the business
  • Experience in people management
  • Proven track record of constantly reaching or outperforming targets
