About Partner Operations:

Partner Operations drives Wayfair’s top and bottom line by partnering with our suppliers to set and enable effective commercial and operational strategies. Together we provide cost-efficient, perfect orders at scale to consumers. Partner Operations is at the forefront of building innovative and scalable supply chain solutions that provide a unique, competitive advantage for Wayfair and unlocks value for our supplier partners. By leveraging our proprietary technology, fulfillment and delivery networks, and supply chain services, we reduce costs, increase speed of delivery and ensure a reliable consumer experience. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to help expand this business and solve complex problems across operations, logistics and technology to achieve rapid growth.

About the Role:

Within this broader organization, the Supply Chain Integration (SCI) team leads the strategic development and process for onboarding and setting up suppliers to sell and operate successfully with Wayfair. The SCI Onboarding team enables Wayfair’s ability for hyper growth as we further expand the supplier base in the $400 billion furniture market that we operate in.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and process driven individual who can lead a cross functional team within operations, logistics, category management and technology to unlock our ability to achieve this growth. You will work closely with leaders across Wayfair to help define overall Onboarding strategy across our dropship integration services, and lead high impact initiatives.  Due to the cross-functional nature of this position and high visibility with senior leadership, effective communication, leadership, and senior presence are highly valued.  Additionally, structured prioritization and creative problem solving skills are both essential.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process for our integrated dropship suppliers
  • Build out longer term vision to create a scalable yet tailored approach to serve this segment of supplier within Wayfair’s broader ecosystem of supplier onboarding
  • Evaluate current constraints in the existing process that inhibit the opportunity to meet Wayfair’s growth targets
  • Closely collaborate with stakeholders across Operations and Product to identify and execute enhancements to the existing processes (in terms of supplier NPS, speed, throughput)
  • Effectively prioritize a large number of opportunities to drive impact to focus area, demonstrating and articulating an understanding of how the work impacts broader operations key performance indicators and the business as a whole

What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor and/or Masters Degree
  • Sufficient experience (5+ years) preferably (but not necessarily limited to) in online retail, supply chain, project management and/or management consulting
  • A track record of taking on big challenges and delivering despite obstacles and limited resources
  • Creative problem solving: ability to think both creatively and critically. Willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo, while also fairly evaluating all possible solutions in making strategic decisions
  • Senior presence: Ability to clearly and consistently work side-by-side across functions and departments synthesizing multiple points of view into a coherent action plan
  • Analytical: Process-oriented, comfortable working with large data sets and making data-driven decisions
