What You'll Do:

You'll be responsible for Talent Acquisition across our Sales and Service on-premise and virtual sites in the UK, Germany, Ireland and more, expanding with Wayfair's growth in Europe.

  • Act as a partner, consultant, and advisor with Operations leadership by developing, driving, and executing strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market
  • Lead a manager, and  team of five to deliver outsized hiring results in an effective and efficient way
  • Design and execute a Talent Acquisition strategy for scale over the next 5+ years across our EU Sales and Service sites along with our Operational Leadership and wider cross-functional partners
  • Lead projects to improve our Operations hiring across the TA lifecycle from attraction and selection to hire
  • Conduct research to map out talent within target companies and new markets
  • Develop, drive, and manage strong relationships with our very supportive Hiring Managers to ensure successful placements within our Operations organisation.
  • Develop and ensure a strong Wayfair brand and presence in our EU Sales & Service locations/ developing markets
  • Take ownership for growing your career with the business as we continue to scale
  • Use your experience to design/tweak assessment processes as required to evaluate candidate qualifications and culture alignment
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to management and stakeholders, made much easier with our TA Analytics tool Visier. 

 

What You'll Need:

  • Experience leading/managing direct reports - Developing, mentoring, coaching, driving high performance, and goal setting
  • Ability to diagnose and coach teams through ups and downs of recruiting cycles and continue to motivate your team within a hyper-growth environment
  • Experience (and ideally a strong network in Operations) having recruited Senior talent, both individual contributors and leaders
  • Experience designing sourcing strategies, assessment processes, and improving areas of TA with a holistic approach (attraction, selection, hire, onboarding)
  • Strong relationship management skills with a proven track record of building trust and credibility with both candidates and senior leaders
  • Prioritisation skills - balancing day to day recruiting and projects with management and development of the team
  • Day to day usage of TA data to solve problems, provide reporting, actionable insights, and to build solutions. Experience using metrics to track success
  • Either to be in, or happy to relocate to one of London, Berlin, or Galway (and we’ll support your relocation)
  • An interest in working in a data focused, fast-paced, TA team with room to grow your career in future
  • Experience in designing and conducting in-depth competency and behavioral based interviews and evaluating candidate profiles
  • Proven success delivering recruiting results
  • To be comfortable multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
