Senior Product Designer - International Supply Chain 

Who we are: 

Within the broader Operational Engineering org, the International Supply Chain team is our freight forwarding solution that strives to delight our customers by offering access to turnkey, frictionless, self-service and competitive freight services from origin to destination through multi-modes of transportation.  The team is building a best-in-class digital freight forwarding platform that can 1.) vertically integrate Wayfair suppliers & their global network of factories to Wayfair's fulfillment centers and delivery network and 2.) compete with top players in the broader, global freight forwarding market.

What you will be doing: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product design vision and strategy in your product area.
  • Create high quality designs while informing the design process.
  • Incorporate and recommend ways to extend ISC’s design system.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to define, monitor and communicate KPIs for your product area in order to continually improve our product in ways that matter most to our users
  • Build prototypes to share and test design concepts.
  • Present work in a range of fidelities and disseminate regular updates to key stakeholders, and ensure shared understanding of initiative strategy with cross-functional partners
  • Inspire your team to push the boundaries of UX quality.

What You Should Have:

  • 5+ years professional hands-on design experience.
  • Strong portfolio of product design work illustrating multiple successfully launched products. Please include a link and password to your portfolio.
  • Worked at/ Have interest working in logistics industry.
  • Ability to clearly articulate your work and rationale while advocating for UX.
  • Expert understanding and application of user-centered design methods.
  • Experience working with product teams in a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and vision.
  • A degree in HCI, UX, Interaction Design, or related fields are preferred.
  • Strong skills in, and understanding of, modern design processes and tools, particularly Figma, Abstract, and Sketch, and the use of pre-existing and evolving design systems
