We have a modern tech stack including sophisticated capabilities around AI, data science, multivariate testing and personalization. As the Product Leader of our EU markets team, you’ll own the end-to-end customer-facing experience for our multi-billion dollar U.K. and Germany businesses across web, iOS, and Android. You’ll be responsible for optimizing the experience in ways that exceed customer expectations and propel Wayfair to be the dominant player in each market. Leaders across the company will be looking to you to set and execute a product strategy that accelerates our growth. You’ll wear many hats, building relationships across the entire organization in order to effectively drive nuance and impact on top of a global platform, which means every day will be different.

What You’ll Do

  • Become the expert on our British and German customers to determine how best to tailor our website and Apps to deliver a market leading customer experience
  • Utilize data to understand customer needs and behaviors and transform that knowledge into action
  • Break down complex problems to identify the highest impact problems to solve and back up your recommendations with quantitative and qualitative reasoning
  • Collaborate with your empowered atomic team of engineers, design, and analytics to build solutions that effectively solve customer problems
  • Rally other teams across the organization to help support your agenda and ensure your plans align with the broader company objectives
  • Monitor performance of your focus area and measure the impact of your product enhancements
  • Significantly improve the end-to-end shopping experience for over 150 million customers

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record in delivering solutions for complex problems in multi-stakeholder setups over multiple quarters
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to coach others of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
  • Ability to create clarity in an ambiguous or complex problem space and to break it down and sequence it into multiple end-to-end use cases using logic and data 
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional agile development teams
  • Track record building experiences that effectively solve a customer pain point and yield significant business impact
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
  • Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
