Wayfair believes everyone deserves a home they love, and that furnishing your home should be a source of fun, not anxiety. Our Product team plays a crucial role in making this vision a reality for millions of people around the world. Partnering with Engineering, Analytics, and business leaders across Wayfair, our Product team ensures that we’re building technology that solves important customer problems in elegant, scalable, measurable ways.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy within Finance Technology, championing our next-gen data solutions that will empower our company’s decision makers to strategically scale the business. Wayfair generates enormous amounts of financially relevant data every minute, and transforming that data into solutions that can improve operational efficiency, shape our data product capabilities, or reduce technical risk is integral to the company’s success. The Finance Product team is at the center of a multi-year platform transformation initiative aimed at creating a stronger foundation for finance data that will support the next $50B in Wayfair’s growth. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative team of product managers who have a track record of building large-scale platform products that help thousands of users and process millions of transactions.

What You'll Do

  • You will be responsible for developing the strategy and execution path for products solving key problems for Wayfair’s 300-person Finance organization
  • You'll build a product roadmap prioritized through collaborative analysis and partnership with multiple Engineering organizations that balances foundational platform investments with Wayfair-wide customer and vendor outcomes
  • You’ll conduct research and discovery initiatives to better understand the technology used in your products, the strong and weak points, and the broader solution landscape, all while meticulously monitoring your KPIs to understand performance trends
  • You’ll champion a strong team dynamic, engaging data science, analytics, and engineering teams proactively to co-develop roadmaps
  • You’ll market your products internally to various departments to ensure all available users know about your technology and how they could benefit from it

What You'll Need

  • You’ve spent 6+ years leading cross-functional scrum teams to remarkable outcomes
  • Your manager or team members have complimented your accountability and organization
  • You are a master at problem breakdown and guiding groups through structured decision making
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • You are data-obsessed: you monitor your KPIs and perform ad hoc analysis to figure out what’s next
  • Your stakeholders praise your communication and collaboration, even though you say “no” to them
  • You can talk about times you took initiative to achieve goals meaningful to you or your team
  • If you have subject matter expertise with ERPs, FP&A software, API-first platform transformation, and building data products for business strategy leaders, that’s a plus
