Who We Are:

Wayfair is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial product leader to develop an innovative new Supplier Insights experience.  The Senior Product Manager, Supplier Insights, will be responsible for building a scalable, world-class experience for Wayfair’s Supplier partners to coach them to delight our customers, and maximize their return on investment as they manage their business with Wayfair.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Supplier Insights, this individual will collaborate with partners across the company, including Supplier Marketing, Category Management, Data Science, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Wayfair’s international businesses in the EU and Canada.  The scope is broad, with accountability for developing and executing a shared vision for how to build the best Supplier Insights experience possible in a way that delivers value for customers, Suppliers and Wayfair.  This role will help Suppliers to grow on Wayfair’s platform by coaching them to take the actions that are most likely to delight customers, which, in turn, will help them improve their business.

What you will do in this role:

  • Drive Results
      • Craft, own, and deliver a world-class insights product experience that will coach our Suppliers to delight our customers, increasing value for customers and for Wayfair
      • Focus a broad, cross-functional team on outcomes while you lead the group to move quickly in developing a net new solution that solves Supplier pain points
      • Understand the details and technical underpinnings of the solutions you will build to mitigate risk, partner productively with adjacent teams, and move quickly to value delivery
    • Win Together
      • Collaborate effectively with senior partners, stakeholders, and executives to ensure cross-Wayfair alignment and support for the Supplier Insights product strategy and vision
      • Recognize and productively communicate to audiences of any level when expectations must be shifted, priorities adjusted, etc. to better optimize for overall business value
  • Continuously Improve
    • Benchmark market leaders, best in class technologies, and user insights to identify significant improvement opportunities and/or solutions for Supplier insights

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years Product Management experience working with analytics, insights delivery, and/or growth-focused teams.  Responsibilities should have included strategy development, design, software development, launch, scale, and maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead Product team and team cultures that make customers happier in ways that help the business succeed, and cultivate high levels of ownership, trust and morale.
  • Track record weaving together a variety of inputs (e.g. business strategy, behavioral data, qualitative research, product sense/instincts) into a coherent product vision, which you then convert into results through product discovery and delivery.
  • Intellectual curiosity about what makes customers feel and act the way they do, what’s interesting across the consumer web / ecomm / mobile landscape at any given time, how the underlying payments and financing industries are evolving (and how that might create new possibilities for Suppliers and Wayfair), etc.
  • Superior communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization, rally people around an exciting vision, and generate buy-in for ideas and plans.
  • Ability to partner closely with Engineering, Design, Business, Data Science, and Analytics partners.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across a wide variety of teams, backgrounds/interests, and levels/seniority; readily able to tailor communication to your audience
