Senior Product Manager, Yard Management

We’re looking for a motivated leader to transform our Yard Management function within the Wayfair Fulfillment Network. This is an exciting chance to reshape how we manage the hubs of our network activity because the Yard is the place where the whole supply chain comes together, including building operations, transportation, ocean containers, forecasting, and network management.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for bringing multiple Wayfair operational teams together to align on a vision for the future of Yard Management at Wayfair.
- Develop a roadmap, in partnership with Operations, Engineering, and Design partners, that enables your product vision. Keep stakeholders updated on the roadmap on a regular basis.
- Partner with providers of our 3rd party Yard Management tool to find creative ways to execute in the short term while building toward the long term vision.
- Define OKRs and work with Engineering and Analytics to measure success.
- Become a subject matter expert on Yard Execution, Appointment Scheduling, and related topics.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years experience in product management, ideally including some B2B or enterprise product work
- Ideal candidate will have experience with supply chain, logistics, or warehousing in some capacity, but only a willingness to learn is required
- Experience working with engineers and designers using Agile frameworks
- Strong technical background with a passion for breaking down challenging problems and driving value incrementally
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing environments
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Ability to effectively prioritize and to communicate technical tradeoffs to stakeholders
- Curiosity and empathy for stakeholders and product users
