CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) is a digital freight forwarding organization within Wayfair's broader CastleGate Logistics network. We offer a full suite of shipping services (Asia consolidation, ocean freight, drayage, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, etc.) that aims to provide Wayfair suppliers with competitive and convenient logistics solutions.

As Senior Manager of Business Development for the CGF Sales team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our sales strategy. You will collaborate with business units within the International Supply Chain team as well as across the company to drive initiatives focused on growing business for all CGF product offerings. This is a highly visible and exciting role and one that will offer the right candidate an opportunity to be part of a fast growing environment within the e-commerce industry.

What You'll Do
Build the Business Development team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities
Define strategies on how to sell core and ancillary products
Collaborate with the Sales Steering team to generate new leads for future growth and continuously build healthy sales pipeline
Identify new customer segments and develop strategies to increase penetration
Establish processes with cross-functional teams to transfer suppliers into managed programs once developed.
Present supply chain value propositions to Wayfair suppliers and identifying supplier needs
Increase share of wallet with non-managed/desk suppliers in line with growth targets
Expand Asia Partner Solutions customer base and volume
Increase supplier participation in ancillary services

What You'll Need
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
A Bachelor and/or Masters degree
5+ years sales experience, preferably in the ocean freight/freight forwarding industry.
Structured and analytical problem solving approach
Ability to work effectively with people in a cross-functional environment
An open personality and confidence to work with mid level or C-level business partners
High degree of comfort using Excel and Powerpoint to work with data and communicate ideas
Leadership/project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and to effectively scope and deliver projects under tight deadlines.
