Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce 

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be part of a team delivering the applications that solve complex integrations and big data problems on the force.com platform. You will be ensuring that we are optimizing our investment in Salesforce, balancing business needs with technical complexity in order to build a best in-class CRM solution.

What You'll Do

  • Create APIs that consume or create data on the Salesforce platform
  • Work to scale the synchronization of data between Wayfair and Salesforce platforms
  • Work with Salesforce admins to identify roadmap items and designs, and work collaboratively across Engineering, Sales, and other teams
  • Propose and own initiatives to completion while balancing various technical trade offs including speed to delivery vs ongoing maintainability and others
  • Provide high quality code reviews and scalable architectural designs
  • Mentor new hires and other engineers to help them become more proficient by example, tech talks, paired programming, and other avenues to increase technical efficiency across the organization

What You'll Need

  • Actively holding the Platform Developer I Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years experience on the Salesforce Lightning Platform including Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Salesforce Development including APEX, Lightning Components, and SOQL
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Web Application Development including Java, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Agile – user stories, features, story points, etc
  • Strong proficiency with web-related protocols and architectures (MVC, MVVM, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP)
  • Attention to UI and UX details
  • Strong proficiency with Object Oriented Programing practices and principles
