What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be working in a highly collaborative environment interacting with other software engineers and product managers
You will be responsible for the proof-of-concept, design, sequencing, estimation, and implementation, and release of products and features within a team of high-performing engineers that will shape the future of Wayfair’s supplier account management
You help to raise the bar by setting standards like TDD, pair programming, or test automation
You will contribute to the team’s technical direction through discussions & supporting writing technical documents such as RFCs & ADRs.
Provide high-quality code reviews and mentor new hires and other engineers to help them become more proficient using best practices and processes

What You’ll Need:

Several years of experience as a full-stack software engineer and an understanding of how to design and maintain a system at scale.
Experience in Java, and Javascript (ideally Typescript, and React)
Passion for supporting and collaborating on a large, cross-cutting technical product delivery across multiple teams and user needs
Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers and product managers
Good understanding of TDD and other XP/Agile practices
Proficient in effective troubleshooting and issue resolution techniques
