What You’ll Do 

In this role, you will focus on partnerships while maintaining a high standard of operational commitment. You can expect to:

  • Act as a liaison for our third party and internal Wayfair delivery partners 
  • Monitor delivery site compliance on inventory processes, and scheduling and delivery of customer orders 
  • Action assigned tickets for customer escalated delivery issues and requested order changes 
  • Proactively identify, investigate and resolve incidents where orders that are past the customer facing delivery date 
  • Proactively suggest process change and be an efficiency leader 
  • Employ data-driven collaboration to secure reliable, continual improvement 
  • Identify areas of opportunity for stakeholders to improve their effectiveness 

What You'll Need 

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent military/work experience 
  • Skill with time management and prioritization, working well under deadlines 
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems 
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work effectively with people in a cross-functional environment 
  • Experience with collaborative G Suite tools or their Microsoft/Open Office equivalents

Who We Are

The Final Mile Support Specialist role will be a part of our Service Operations Freight team. As a member of the Final Mile Freight Team, you will build relationships with delivery sites across North America and work with these teams to ensure compliance in final mile processes and real time accuracy in product location. 

Your role will include a series of proactive and reactive workflows to support these delivery sites in scheduling, delivery, and exception management of customer orders. These workflows can include monitoring SLA compliance from our delivery partners to identify and address delays, investigations into late shipments, and processing customer-requested order changes.
